NSLP Financial Literacy Scholarship Drawing Official Rules for
Nebraska High School Students November 1, 2009 through May 31, 2010
No purchase, loan or loan application is necessary to enter or win. A purchase, loan or loan application will not increase your chances of winning.

1. ELIGIBILITY: This drawing is available only in the United States and is open only to high school students who are juniors or seniors and who are attending an accredited Nebraska high school who are 13 years of age or older. Employees, officers, directors, agents and representatives of National Student Loan Program (hereafter, “Sponsor”), its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies (collectively, the “Released Parties”), and all of their immediate family members (spouses, parents, children, siblings and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and all others with whom they are domiciled, whether or not related, are not eligible to enter or win. Subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws. Void where prohibited by law. You need not be a customer of National Student Loan Program to enter.
2. ENTRY: Go to NSLP’s Financial Literacy Online at www.nslpflonline.org/nebraska, and successfully complete a course (including submitting answers to all assignments and receiving 70 percent or better on the final exam) for an entry into the drawing. Student will earn one entry for each course successfully completed from November 1, 2009 through May 31, 2010. The use of automated entry devices of any kind or the use of scripts, macros or other mechanical or automated means is prohibited and any such entries are void. Released Parties are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, damaged, mutilated, inaccurate, stolen, misdirected, illegible entries and all such entries shall be ineligible. Released Parties are also not responsible for incomplete, lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections, miscommunications, computer or software malfunctions or telephone transmission problems, telephone lines or other telephone problems, technical failures, garbled transmissions, damage to a user's computer equipment (software or hardware), the cancellation or postponement of any course, or other errors or malfunctions of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, printing, typographical or otherwise relating to or in connection with the courses, including, without limitation, errors or problems relating to or in connection with the administration of the courses, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prize, courses or drawing forms or in any other drawing related materials. Other than as specifically permitted in these rules, downloaded, mechanically or otherwise duplicate student accounts will not be accepted and all such accounts will be void.
3. WINNER SELECTION: Winners will be selected monthly by NSLP in a random drawing conducted monthly from December 2009 through June 2010 from among all eligible students. At NSLP’s election, if the winner is a minor, he or she may be required to secure the acknowledgment and consent from such minor’s parent(s) before the funds are awarded. By participating, student (or, if eligible minors, their parents or legal guardians) agree to be bound by these Official Rules and to the decisions of the Sponsor, which will be final and binding in all respects. Potential winners, or a parent or legal guardian of winner who is an eligible minor, will be notified in person or by e-mail, regular mail or telephone. If potential winner, or a parent or legal guardian of a winner who is an eligible minor, cannot be reached within five (5) business days of date of the first attempted notification, then the prize will be forfeited in its entirety and, at Sponsor’s discretion, awarded to an alternate winner. Potential winners, or a parent or legal guardian of winner who is an eligible minor, will be required to complete, sign, and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, and a Consent and Release Form, all of which must be received by Sponsor or its designated agent within 14 business days of date of issuance of notification. If all required documentation is not returned within the stated time, or is undeliverable, or if a potential winner is otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules, prize will be forfeited in its entirety and, at Sponsor’s discretion, awarded to an alternate winner.
4. PRIZES: EducationQuest Foundation will manage the escrow and disbursement of all scholarship funds on behalf of National Student Loan Program. Winners will each receive $500 awarded in a lump sum check made payable to student and to the college or university. The student’s enrollment at the college or university will be verified by EducationQuest before the funds are released. Odds of winning will depend on the total number of eligible entries. No transfer, assignment or substitution of prize except by Sponsor who reserves the right to substitute prize of comparable or greater value as determined by Sponsor. All federal, state and local taxes on prize, if any and any costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specifically included in the prize description herein, are the responsibility of the individual winners.
5. MISCELLANEOUS: All online entries must include a valid e-mail address. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, entry will be awarded to the person named on the student account (regardless of whether that is the name of the authorized account holder of the e-mail address from which said student account was submitted). Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any web site or undermine the legitimate operation of drawings is a violation of criminal and/or civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify entrant (and void all associated accounts) and seek damages and other remedies to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to void suspect students or to modify, cancel or suspend the drawings should virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or any other causes corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the drawings. In any such event, Sponsor will select winners from among all eligible non-suspect students received. Sponsor reserves the right to invalidate any and all entries of a student which Sponsor, in its sole discretion, determines to be in violation of these Official Rules or any and all entries of a student who Sponsor determines has engaged in any act or activity which corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the drawings or who is otherwise in violation of these Official Rules. Students (and parents/legal guardians of minor students) agree to: 1) Sponsor’s use of students’ name, voice, biography, likeness and other indicia by Sponsor and its designees in any medium now or hereafter known worldwide in perpetuity without further notice, consideration or compensation for marketing, promotion, advertising, filing and dissemination purposes, except where prohibited by law; and 2) indemnify, defend and hold harmless Released Parties from any and all liability, claims, law suits, costs, expenses, fees, losses, injuries or damages to students or any other person or entity, including personal injury, death or damage to personal or real property, arising directly or indirectly from the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prize, participation in the drawings and/or from student’s fraudulent or wrongful acts or omissions and 3) not sue Released Parties for any damages arising from winner’s acceptance of or use of the Prize. Sponsor shall have the sole right to disqualify any students for violation of these rules or any applicable laws relating to the sweepstakes, and to resolve all disputes in its sole discretion. For student athletes enrolled or enrolling in NCAA member institutions, NCAA regulations governing financial aid from outside sources and other NCAA rules apply.
